There is a discrepancy in the railroad name noted on the Climax Locomotives site (Derby & Southwestern Railroad) and that noted on the Mississippi Rails site (Derby & Southeastern Railroad).    While the name on the Climax Locomotives site accurately reflects the original Climax Locomotive Works records, we believe the name noted by Gill Hoffman and the Mississippi Rails site is the correct name due to their expertise in Mississippi logging and lumbering railroads.
